Dr. Adithya Sridhar is an Assistant Professor & Principal Investigator at the OrganoVIR Labs in Amsterdam UMC (location AMC). He has a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Oxford and did his PhD in the lab-on-chip group of Prof. van den Berg at the University of Twente.
Building on over 15 years of experience in developing complex in vitro cell culture models, he has established airway, gut, and brain organoid models for virology at Amsterdam UMC. Previously, he also contributed to the GUTVIBRATIONS project, where he served as Scientific Manager and Work Package leader.
In DETECTIVE, he will supervise a DC working on neuromuscular organoids for studying EV-induced paralysis.
